Rocket balloons.

Yesterday for science, we did rocket balloons.
To make it you need:
- a long piece of string.
- a balloon
- two pieces of tape
- a straw
and a stop watch if you want to time itl.

First you lay out the string. Next tie the string to two chairs or walls so that it is tight.
Then you blow up the balloon, Then get the tape and some scissors to cut the tape. Then tape the balloon on to on end of the string. Let go of the balloon and it will shoot across the room on the string.
How does it work?
When you let go the air is forced out the back and pushes the balloon forwards.
