Professor Snickerty's Amazing Plants - School production.

Hi there,
Sorrry we havent posted many posts lately but........
......we have been super busy!

For the last four weeks it has been operation 'Production" 'Production' for all of us hard working very talented kids at Maungatapere School.

The production was Professor Snickerty's Amazing Plants. Basically it is a story about a insane professor that wanted to invent a super plant that can walk, talk, dance and help him take over the world. The plants decided they didnt want to help him but they were sick of being chopped, sliced , peeled and boiled.
In the end they made friends with the humans and lived happily in a world where no one ate them.
Instead of having steak and salad they just had steak.

Our class worked with Room 1 and did a dance about the vegetables revolting against the humans. There were tomatoes, corn, carrots and avocadoes. There were also rainbow girls, ukulele players and four evil, nasty chefs. We danced and sang to Somewhere over the rainbow by Ike.

We did a matinee and then an evening show. It was incredible to be on stage with the lighting and a huge audience watching us. All of our parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles came to watch. They gave us a big clap and cheered at the end. Ms Hodgson says that we were amazing. We really enjoyed it and wish we could do it again.
